I love taking on commissioned art projects, but due to my involvement in various art shows throughout the year, I am constrained by the number of commissions I can undertake annually.

Here's how the commission process works: we start by determining the size of the artwork, which also plays a role in determining the cost. You have the option of providing me with basic ideas and enjoying the surprise of the finished piece, or I can work on ideas with you and come up with a plan together. If you'd like a preview of a larger image beforehand, I can create small studies to assist in that process. For you, the subject matter for the art can be inspired by my previous works, it can be based on a location, or the painting could have a theme that might hold significance for you. Please note that my specialization is usually classic boats, as evident from my portfolio, and I do not generally create modern plastic boat images, unless they adhere to a classic aesthetic. 

To initiate the commission, I request an initial deposit of approximately one-third of the agreed-upon total before starting work. I've found that establishing clear commitments from both parties helps streamline the process, avoiding delays that could impact my schedule and creative workflow. Upon receiving your deposit, your project is then given priority in line.
